How these numbers are counted
- Cats fixed: cats in our records with the status "Fixed". Per month and per year by the month the cat was trapped; cats without a trap date count in the total only.
- Colonies helped: colonies with at least one cat in our records or a completed trapping.
- Trappings completed: trapping jobs marked completed.
- Days of holding care: calendar days with at least one completed holding-care shift.
- Volunteers active: people who attended at least one completed job this calendar year.
- Spent on vet care: the running total of what Detroit Alley Cats paid for the cats' vet care, rounded to the dollar.
A few colonies are not shown anywhere on this site, and their cats are not counted here.
